Ministry of Interior Executes Death Penalty for Perpetrator in Riyadh Region: Statement

Al-Marsad Newspaper – SPA: Today, the Ministry of Interior issued a statement regarding the implementation of the death penalty for one of the perpetrators in the Riyadh region, as follows:

God Almighty said: (O you who have believed, retaliation for the dead is prescribed for you) verse.

And the Almighty said: (And you have life in retribution, O people of understanding, that you may fear).

Saleh bin Muthakhar bin Saleh Al-Mughiri Al-Otaibi – a Saudi national – killed / Ayman bin Saad bin Thunayan Al-Hafi – a Saudi national – by shooting him with a pistol, which led to his death due to a financial dispute between them.

By the grace of God, the security authorities were able to arrest the aforementioned perpetrator, and the investigation with him resulted in him being accused of committing his crime, and in referring him to the competent court. A royal order to implement what was legally decided, and was supported by its reference.

The death sentence was executed in retribution against the perpetrator / Saleh bin Muthakhar bin Saleh Al-Mughiri Al-Otaibi – a Saudi national – on Tuesday, 1/14/1445 AH, corresponding to 8/1/2023 AD, in the Riyadh region.
