In the near future, Ukraine is expected to reduce the electricity shortage.
Ukraine’s nuclear power plants will start operating tonight, after which a reduction in the electricity shortage is expected.
This was announced by Energy Minister German Galushchenko during the telethon.
“Now the situation is difficult throughout the country. There are areas where supplies have been increased. Yesterday, due to the bombing, there was a blackout in our energy system. At 4:00 we managed to merge the energy system , connect critical infrastructure facilities. As a result, we will increase the volume. By evening, nuclear power plants will start operating, so the deficit will be reduced,” said the Minister of Energy.
Recall that the nuclear power plants in Rivne, South Ukraine and Khmelnytsky have suspended their work due to missile attacks by the Russian Federation. Because of Russian missile terrorism was stopped working one of the four power units of the Rivne NPP – a power plant lost connection to one of the 750 kV power lines. As a result, the nuclear power plant reduced its power and one of its four units was automatically shut down.
