Morelia.- An elements of the Municipal police from Morelia, shot a young man inside a home located in the Jardines del Toreo residential subdivision of the Michoacan capital.
The Morelia security commissioner, Julisa Suárez Bucio, affirmed that the intervention of her elements was the result of a report of theft inside a house.
He charged that the person became aggressive and as a result of the police action, the young man is shot dead and one of its elements is injured.
The official omitted the facts in detail. She said that everything is in the hands of the Michoacán Prosecutor’s Office, where the action of the element that fired will be determined.
Osmara Chagolla, Julio’s sister, the dead young man, he denounced in his social networks that your brother he was not armed.
He emphasized that last night, both his family, neighbors and the guard of the private subdivision, asked the police not to shoot.
He assured that his brother was a good person and that if he had entered another home it was by mistake, due to an emotional crisis he was going through.
He recalled that they have lived in that subdivision forever and that is why all the neighbors knew Julio and knew that he was not dangerous.
“My father saw my brother die at the hand of a cold-blooded murderer who cowardly hides behind his uniform and badge (of) ‘representative’ of the law,” he reproached.
He explained that: “I do not wish anyone the pain that we are going through as a family! but justice will be done, so be it until my last breath ”, warned Osmara.
Due to these facts, the State Human Rights Commission, officially integrated the complaint file MOR / 594/2020.
This, he said, to investigate possible actions or omissions of the policemen involved, which could lead to violations of the victim’s human rights.
