Metz. A 13-year-old boy stabbed in the back by a friend in the Patrotte district

This Saturday, September 4, in the district of La Patrotte in Metz, around 3 p.m., a 13-year-old teenager was taken care of by the emergency services, after having received a stab in the back. Seriously injured, he was first taken to the emergency room of Mercy hospital before being transferred to Nancy hospital. According to our colleagues from France Bleu, his condition stabilized at the end of the day.

A suspect was arrested near the scene by agents from the Metz police station. The young person involved would be 12 years old and would be a friend of the victim, according to testimonies from neighbors, collected in the neighborhood. The circumstances of the attack will have to be clarified by the investigators in the coming days.
