It is worth remembering that the flu vaccination campaign began in October aimed at the target population (54,669 people in Menorca) and that since December 18 the campaign has been opened to the entire population from six months of age. The objective of this measure is to expand the immunization coverage of the Menorcan population against the flu virus, since it is considered that until now the number of vaccinations is low: only 35.5% of the target population of over 60 years old, 5.7% between 5 and 59 years old and 10.4% of the target population under 5 years old.
