Medina said that in the coming years there will be no turning back in education, access to credit for producers, system 911, that economic growth reaches all social sectors, that the country is a prosperous middle class and an example for the region , quality health for all and that the Dominicans continue to open space and have the same rights guaranteed as men.
“This is the change, but the change with capital letters. The sure change that I told you about in 2012 is already a reality. “As you can see, many things have changed, for the better and forever,” he said.
“I will return as one more to my town with the peace of mind that I have given the best I have had,” said the president when making a self-evaluation of his eight years of government.

President Medina said that his greatest interest was to walk again through the streets of the country, once his presidential term ended, as a common citizen and anyone, with the smile that would cause him to know that he gave his best while he was in charge of the Executive.
“Let’s continue doing what has never been done,” the president motivated the citizens to vote for whoever follows his work, which “is the political project of Juan Pablo Duarte and Professor Juan Bosch.”
He said that the Dominican people will decide wisely and know how to defend what has been achieved, noting that on August 16 they will assume a new president, who has elected citizenship at the polls.
He considered that his administration of government is the legacy of having contributed to give his successor on August 16 a larger and more just homeland.
He indicated that the country has a future ahead and that it is not time to stop, that the people’s capacities will lead to new goals.
