Mexican actress Eréndira Ibarra will debut in Hollywood with the fourth installment of the Matrix saga, in which you will share credits with Keanu Reeves, under the direction of Lana Wachowski
The new production of the tape will be again starring reeves in the role of “Neo”, while Carrie-Anne Moss will be “Trinity” and Jada Pinkett Smith will give life to “Niobe”. Other actors who have joined the cast are Jessica Henwick, Neil Patrick Harris, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II and Jonathan Groff, reported Deadline.
The Mexican has previously worked alongside Wachowski, as it was the mind behind the original Netflix series, Sense8, in which Ibarra played “Daniela Velázquez” during the first two seasons. For Matrix 4 The role it will play has not been revealed.
Eréndira debuted in 2005 with the short film Alivio, by Armando Vega-Gil, but was made known internationally with the soap opera Desire forbidden; between 2008 and 2012 he had one of the main roles in the Cappadocia series, in which he embodied “Sofia Lopez”; History portrays the difficult life of women in prison.
Lana Wachowski is one of those responsible for the first trilogy of Matrix, later produced the tape V for revenge and Sense8, whose plot revolves around eight strangers who suddenly connect telepathically and are able to feel, see and hear the same as the other.
