Ladies and gentlemen, we have it! BioWare has officially announced the remaster of Commander Shepard’s trilogy. The space saga, after a graphic facelift, will hit next spring for PC, PS4 and Xbox One. The position of ograms also on PS5 and Xbox Series X / S thanks to backward compatibility. It is worth emphasizing that this is not a full-fledged remake.
The collection includes the games Mass Effect, Mass Effect 2 and Mass Effect 3, as well as all the single add-ons and bonus items (weapons, armor, etc.). When it comes to the visuals, players will receive higher resolutions and smoother animation. Elements such as textures, shaders, character models, and various effects will also be improved.
BioWare confirms that work is currently underway on “the next chapter in the Mass Effect universe.” The project is supported by experienced studio employees – the “veteran team”.
