Apple Temporarily Withdraws Distribution of iOS 17.3 Beta 2 due to Bootloop Issue

Malang Posco Media – Apple has officially temporarily withdrawn the distribution of their latest beta version of the operating system, namely iOS 17.3 beta 2, after receiving reports from several users experiencing problems after installing the system.

In the GSM Arena report, Thursday (4/1) local time, the problem faced by these users was a bootloop after the “Back Tap” movement feature was deactivated.

Bootloop, which is a condition where the cellphone restarts repeatedly, of course causes discomfort and indicates a problem with the latest operating system.

In connection with this, Apple officially issued a statement stating that the iOS 17.3 beta 2 operating system has been temporarily discontinued, along with the withdrawal of the latest beta version for the iPad.

“iOS and iPadOS 17.3 beta 2 has been temporarily withdrawn due to an issue preventing a small number of devices from starting,” Apple said in a statement.

In fact, the presence of the beta version is aimed at parties who develop applications for the iPhone and iPad, but quite a few ordinary users are interested in trying out the new features of the operating system developed by Apple first.

Therefore, if you are an Apple user who encounters bootloop problems after installing iOS 17.3 beta 2 then it is a good idea to follow the advice to enter Recovery Mode.

The mode allows users to restore previous versions of iOS. If you are still interested in waiting for new features, users can wait for a more stable beta version update.(ntr/mpm)
