To put on and dress a child for school in Belarus will cost from 98 rubles. This was announced at a press conference by the head of the organization of trade and public catering MART Natalya Melnikova, writes Sputnik.by.
“The estimated cost of sets of business style clothes and shoes is from 98 rubles. The cost of the optimal enrollment for a schoolchild is up to 300 rubles,” said Natalya Melnikova.
MART noted that fairs and sales of goods for schoolchildren have already started operating throughout the country. Discounts on clothes for schoolchildren can reach 50%.
Price premiums for many types of clothing and footwear for schoolchildren and preschoolers are limited: the “ceiling” is from 35% to 55%. But in reality, the markup, according to Melnikova, in stores does not exceed 29%.
In addition, the representative of MART drew attention to the fact that in some stores goods for the school can be purchased in installments or on credit. Also, trade objects accept payments by installment cards, the loan term for which is from 2 to 9 months.
