An elderly couple was found dead in an apartment in Vienna-Ottakring. Both had gunshot wounds. After initial investigations, the police assume murder and suicide. The 72-year-old is said to have been seriously ill. Police spokeswoman Barbara Gass said the police had been called because they did not show up for their regular medical treatment.
