From plush cushions to elegant designs, it’s clear that Mark and Michelle don’t hold back when it comes to home decor. Join us as we take a closer look at the sofa that has the whole world talking, and delve into the reasons behind its unbeatable charm.

Mark Wright, former star of The Only Way Is Essex and his wife, actress Michelle Keegan, have been giving fans a glimpse inside their newly renovated £3.5million mansion in Essex via their home Instagram page. In one post, the couple show off their luxurious and opulent new sofa. The large wraparound sofa is adorned with scatter cushions, which Mark claims “finish our living room sofa perfectly.” But while many of Mark and Michelle’s followers were impressed with the finish of the room, some followers insisted it looked too perfect, with one writing: “Perfection but that’s not living, won’t want sit on the sofa for fear of messing it up. Every house needs to be a home, not a show.”

The couple moved into their new home in September 2020, and have been documenting the renovation process on their Instagram page. In another post, Mark showed off their bespoke bed featuring a pop-up TV, which he called “one of our favourite things about our house.” The couple bought the property in October 2019, spending £1.3 million on it, and have since spent a further £2.2 million on renovation work.

The lavish home features a his-and-hers bathroom, with a floating vanity unit in a marble finish, complete with two gold sinks and large mirrors. The modern dining room boasts a round marble table and comfy-looking beige shearling chairs, with above-table lighting made up of an extravagant light fixture made of gold pipes and delicate glass orbs. The neutral-toned home is decorated with contemporary sculptures, intricate gold statues, and large abstract paintings with hints of gold for an added touch of flair.

Mark’s father, Mark Wright Sr, also shared a video from their home build a few months ago, showing off the gorgeous exterior of the home and the annexe. Due to various lockdowns and Covid-19 restrictions, construction was stop-start after the couple demolished a farmhouse and began building a five-bedroom mansion complete with bar, gym, granny annexe and outdoor swimming pool. Construction experts have estimated the demolition and rebuild cost the couple around £3.5million.

The couple hosted their first Christmas in their new home in December, with Mark’s sister Natalya posting a family photo on Instagram which shows the couple looking suave and stylish while holding their pet dogs, Pip and Phoebe. The photo also featured Mark’s parents and his sister Jess, along with her husband William Lee-Kemp.

While some followers have criticised the couple’s choice of furniture and decor as too perfect, others have praised their opulent style and attention to detail. The couple’s £3.5 million mansion is certainly a dream home for many, with its luxurious features and contemporary decor.

In conclusion, Mark Wright and Michelle Keegan have proven to be the ultimate power couple as their fans continue to express their admiration for their lavish lifestyle. From their stunning home decor to their fashionable clothing choices, the duo exudes elegance and sophistication in all that they do. It’s no wonder that their grand sofa has become a topic of discussion among their fans, as it perfectly encapsulates their penchant for luxury and style. We can’t wait to see what other awe-inspiring decor choices this dynamic duo has in store for us in the future.
