Mark Hamill provides voice Skeletor in Masters of the Universe: Revelation | NOW

Mark Hamill goes for the animation series Masters of the Universe: Revelation say the voice of villain Skeletor, reports Deadline Friday. Besides the Star Wars actor, Lena Headey, Chris Wood and Sarah Michelle Gellar are also part of the voice cast.

Lena Headey, known as Queen Cersei from Game of Thrones, will speak the voice of Evil-Lyn, Skeletor’s right hand. The voice of Prince Adam (and that of his alter ego He-Man) is spoken by Chris Wood, known from The Vampire Diaries. Sarah Michelle Gellar, who became known as Buffy in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, speaks the voice of Teela, the bodyguard and trainer of Prince Adam.

The rest of the cast from Masters of the Universe: Revelation consists of actors who previously made a name for themselves in roles in science fiction, fantasy or comic book series and films. Director Kevin Smith is the showrunner and executive producer of the series.

He-Man came on the market in the early 1980s as a toy doll. In addition, a number of comic books appeared, and in 1983 a television series with the title He-Man and the Masters of the Universe. The storyline of the new series, which will be shown on Netflix, continues where that of the original television series stopped.
