Man Wanted by FBI Arrested for Killing Four People in Montgomery, Ohio

Stephen Marlow was arrested after allegedly killing four people in Montgomery County, Ohio on August 5.

(…) The Police Department, as well as all of our local state and federal partners here today, are continually working to bring justice to all victims and their families.”Porter said at a news conference.

The victims were identified as Kayla Anderson, 15; Clyde Knox, 82; Knox, 78; Sarah Anderson, 41, according to the Montgomery County coroner’s office.

On Monday, around 5 pm, an event will be held at Butler High School in support of the families of the victims of this homicide and with a message of hope.

For his part, the mayor, Richard Herbst, of the city of Vandalia (Ohio), sent a statement with what happened.

“I have listened to many residents tonight express their shock and deep sadness at the tragedy that unfolded this afternoon in Butler Township.”

“In good times and bad, we are all a community, so the events of the day hit us all to our core. Our staff has reached out to our friends in Butler Township and offered to help,” he said.

“While we haven’t had any specific threats against city facilities, we are increasing the number of officers on patrol as a precaution. We have also canceled outdoor activities and closed our recreational facilities as a precaution,” he continued.

“I want everyone to know that this is a situation that we will continue to monitor closely in the future. We will continue to be in close contact with Butler Township authorities to keep abreast of all developments. In the meantime, my family will be praying for all those affected by today’s terrible events.”
