The Dongbu Police Station in Daejeon announced on the 30th that it was investigating a man in his 60s who was arrested on suspicion of not reporting to the police after finding a relative who had died inside the house. Mr. A is suspected of leaving the scene without reporting it after visiting a relative’s house in Dong-gu, Daejeon recently and seeing the bodies of a married couple in their 80s who were found dead inside the house. The deceased couple in their 80s were found dead in their apartment at 11:30 am on the 15th. After receiving a call from a family member who said they could not reach the couple, the police went to the scene and checked their bodies. At the time of discovery, the body was in a state of considerable decomposition, and it is known that the murder suspect has not yet been confirmed. Afterwards, the police analyzed the apartment closed-circuit TV (CCTV) video and secured the identity of Mr. A after finding out the circumstances in which Mr. A had escaped the scene without taking any action even though he had seen the corpses of the couple, who were relatives. The police are asking the National Institute of Scientific Investigation to perform an autopsy on the deceased couple, while investigating the reason for visiting the elderly couple against Mr. A.
