In Lviv, law enforcement officers exposed a corruption scheme organized by officials of the state-owned enterprise of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. According to preliminary estimates, the attackers inflicted damage on the state by half a million hryvnia per month.

It is known that the director of the enterprise, as well as and. about. the chief engineer, without the approval of the regional State Property Fund of Ukraine, rented out warehouse premises at a significantly reduced cost. The price of services depended on the scale of the rented space.
It is noted that law enforcement officers managed to detain the offenders while receiving 52 thousand hryvnias of unlawful benefits.
In the course of the investigative actions at the place of work of the defendants, the SBU officers found draft records confirming the illegal activity.
The detainees will be informed of suspicion of committing a crime under Part 3 of Art. 368 (acceptance of an offer, promise or receipt of an unlawful benefit by an official) of the Criminal Code.
Investigative actions are underway now. The possible involvement of other officials of the state-owned enterprise in illegal activities is being established.
