Now the new fatality of the Covid-19 coronavirus contagion is a man from the Altiplano of Potosí, whose age is less than 60 years old.
On the plateau of the fifth wave, the number of positive samples for coronavirus by contagion was on the verge of reaching a thousand.
The fatal victim is a 56-year-old man, originally from the municipality of Matehuala, who had the complete vaccination schedule established by the health authorities. However, he also suffered from risk factors related to high blood pressure, diabetes mellitus and chronic kidney disease.
The new reported cases were 988, a group composed of samples belonging to 573 women and 415 men in a universe of population from one month to 92 years of age.
In the group of people who were infected, there are 339 patients who have not received a single vaccine, 578 who have the complete vaccination schedule established so far by the health authorities and 71 who received at least one vaccine.
Four intubated and bedridden patients remain in hospitals, while 22 are in a serious state of health. On the other hand, there are thirty patients in stable condition.
From March 2020 to date, the pandemic provides an official list of 7,585 dead people who suffered from contagion and 213,863 samples that were positive for contagion, out of a universe of 595,596 samples analyzed.
This Monday, 6,469 samples pending diagnosis woke up in a waiting line in the various laboratories.
