Daniel Von Bargen He was a beloved character actor whose crazy antics appeared in a variety of television shows and movies, from Mr. Kruger on Seinfeld to Chief Grady on Super Troopers.
He spent fifteen memorable episodes on Malcolm in the Middle as Commander Edwin Spangler, the tough principal of the military school they attended. Francis (Christopher Masterson) Y Eric (Dewey Wilkerson).
