There were several hundred fans of the little yellow ball trying to win their place in the final square of the individual departmental championships. The competition, open to all Moselle licensees, made it possible to face several players of equivalent level, before opposing the best in its category. This Sunday, the final stages played at the Napoleon Park of TC Thionville Moselle allowed to decide between the players still undefeated. As for the fourth series, the best performance of the competition was to the credit of Hugo Didierjean, not classified at the start of the competition. Licensed at TC Peltre, Didierjean managed to reach the final by defeating Arthur Mayot (30/2, ASC Tennis) at the end of the suspense (6-4, 3-6, 7-5). Only Mayer (30/1, Kanfen) stopped him in his crazy ride (6-3, 6-4). Chloé Schmitt (30/1, Richemont TC) got the better of Baehr (30/1, Montigny-lès-Metz) 6-3, 6-2 for the women. The matches were more hooked in the third series. Gisselaire (15/1, Montigny-lès-Metz) was battling to overcome the tenacious Reggianini (15/1, Guénange) in three sets (6-2, 1-6, 6-2). The day ended with an excellent duel Doub (15/2, Woustviller TC) against Kubitz (15, Retonfey CO). The second, passed in the second series since, finally won the title (6-4, 5-7, 6-4).
