A 50-year-old motorist has just managed to drive his car, which was burning in the engine compartment, to Adlergässchen. On Saturday 24 December 2022 he was driving along Baumgartnerstrasse when, around 1.50 pm, a warning light on the dashboard suddenly came on and shortly after the engine stopped. The 50-year-old drove the car to Adlergässchen and found a fire in the engine compartment. The fire was quickly put out by firefighters. Nobody was injured. The car, in which the entire engine compartment caught fire, had to be towed. The extent of the damage is not known here. The area was cordoned off extensively during the firefighting.
