Last week a hacker under the pseudonym teapotuberhacker was staged massive loss material from an early version of Grand Theft Auto 6. The BBC portal claimed he was suspected of hacking. Subsequently, this information was confirmed by members of law enforcement, but without details.
However, Case shared the details with reference to his own source. The boy is suspected of the recent Rockstar Games and Uber hacks. Apparently, he is associated with the Lapsus $ group, which has been named responsible for recent hacker incidents. The fact that there is a person behind the data theft of two companies was reported soon after the publication of the materials of an early version of GTA 6.
Official details of the arrest are expected to appear soon. Police promised to share information about the suspect’s arrest in the near future.
