Former US President Donald Trump has officially declared that he will run again in the 2024 presidential election.
However, it is expected to be a difficult journey to become a Republican candidate in the next presidential election as the theory of responsibility for poor midterm election results and the possibility of judicial treatment are brought up.

Former President Trump held a conference at his home in Mar-a-Lago, Florida and officially declared his candidacy for the 2024 presidential election in front of hundreds of supporters.

Two years ago the United States was a great country, but now that the Biden administration has entered, that is not the case, and he has said that he is running for president to make the United States a great nation again.
This is the third presidential election challenge for former President Trump, who turns 76 this year.
But the road ahead does not seem so smooth.
In the midterm elections, the candidates he supported were defeated in Pennsylvania and Nevada, and gave the Senate to the Democrats.
There are also polling results showing that Florida Governor DeSantis, who has emerged as the new Republican candidate, is ahead of former President Trump in presidential candidate preference.

It is clear that former President Trump still has great popularity and influence within the US Republican Party.
However, the conservative Wall Street Journal pointed out in an editorial that it was ironic that more Democrats than Republicans were enthusiastic about Trump’s declaration that he was running for office.
