London joins the call for peace in Palestine: the places and times of the demonstrations

For the sixth consecutive Saturday since Israel launched its bombings on Gaza, dozens of Thousands of Britons show their opposition to indiscriminate attacks against civilians have claimed the lives of more than 11,000 Palestinianstwo thirds of them women and children.

Last Saturday more than 800,000 people marched in London, in one of the largest political demonstrations in British history. And tomorrow, Saturday, hundreds of citizens from cities and towns across the United Kingdom will demonstrate in the streets why el 76% of the British population (as shown by a YouGov opinion poll) is in favor of an immediate ceasefire.

It is expected that tomorrow there will be at least one dozen protests in favor of a ceasefire in Palestine in different neighborhoods of London. Local boroughs where marches are planned on November 18 include Camden, Hackney, Acton and Lewisham.

Additionally, dozens of marches will take place across the UK tomorrow and Sunday 19 November, including in Liverpool, Bristol and Portsmouth.

Where are there protests in London on Saturday?

Acton: Between Morrisons and King St D bus stop, W3 9NW, 12:00pm to 1:30pm.

Camberwell: Camberwell Green, a las 12:00.

Camden: Chalk Farm Station, a las 11:30, marcha hasta Camden Town Station.

Hackney: Gather at Kingsland Passage (on the corner of Balls Pond Road and Kingsland High Street), at 2:00 p.m.

Harrow: Rally outside the office of Harrow East MP Bob Blackman, 209 Headstone Lane, HA2 6ND, 11:00-12:00.

Islington: Highbury Corner, 12:30.

Kingsbury: Opposite Barclays Kingsbury (recently closed), 505-507 Kingsbury Road, London NW9 9EG, 10am-12pm.

Lewisham: Rally at Lewisham Islamic Centre, 1pm, march down Lewisham High Street to rally outside Glass Mills leisure centre, 2.30pm.

Tower Hamlets: Gather at Altab Ali Park at 12:00, march to Bethnal Green Gardens.

Waltham Forest: Barclays and Hoe Street, E17 9QE, 11:30-1:00.

Redbridge: In front of Redbridge Town Hall, from 12:00 to 14:00.

Luton: in front of Luton Town Hall, George’s Street, 12:00.
