Hungary’s Foreign Minister speaks out on Ukraine conflict and NATO membership.

Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjártó said his country had paid too high a price for the war in Ukraine.

According to him, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has no right to assess the behavior of Hungary as a NATO member state.

“Fortunately, it is not for him to decide. The Hungarian people have already paid a very high price for this war,” he wrote.

Szijjarto stated that many Hungarians – members of the Hungarian community of Transcarpathia – had already died in this war.
