Number of deaths
Of the 106 deaths, 5 were registered in the age category 40-49 years, 16 in the age category 50-59 years, 29 in the age category 60-69 years, 39 in the age category 70-79 years and 17 in age group over 80 years.
102 of the registered deaths are of some patients who presented comorbidities, 1 deceased patient did not register comorbidities, and for 3 deceased patients no comorbidities have been reported so far.
18 deaths were reported prior to the reference interval, which occurred in the counties of Bacău, Bihor, Giurgiu, Neamț, in October 2021 and November 2021. 88 deaths were reported in the reference interval.
Out of a total of 106 patients who died, 96 were unvaccinated and 10 were vaccinated. The 10 vaccinated deceased patients were aged between 40-49 years and over 80 years. 9 of the vaccinated patients who died had comorbidities, and for 1 patient no comorbidities were reported.
In the specialized health units, the total number of people hospitalized with COVID-19 is 7,646. Of these, 1,212 are hospitalized at ATI. Of the 1,212 patients admitted to ATI, 120 have a certificate attesting to vaccination (read more HERE).
