Linde Merckpoel (37) is in quarantine at home after she became infected with corona. The VRT vlogger says she contracted the virus during a trip to London, but she does not know exactly how.

Merckpoel lets it be understood in a somewhat playful way via Instagram that she became infected with the corona virus. “I brought this scented candle from London last weekend,” she says. “And that’s a bit ironic.” After all, the former radio host can no longer smell the candle herself, she lost her ability to taste and smell due to the contamination. “Furthermore, the feeling of a very bad cold, muscle pain, cough, headache and until this morning barely a voice.”
The VRT vlogger also says that she has absolutely no idea how she became infected. She says she strictly adheres to the rules. “Mouth mask, keeping your distance, all the trimmings, but I hear it’s really everywhere now. So be extra careful,” Merckpoel warns.
