A man in his twenties who sent a malicious message via SNS to the wife and broadcaster Kim Song (49) of singer Won-rae Kang (56) was handed over to the prosecution.
The Seoul Gwangjin Police Department announced on the 29th that it had sent a prosecution opinion on the 22nd on charges of insults under the Information and Communication Network Act.
According to the police, Mr. A was charged with sending malicious messages to Kim Song last month, saying, “What do you think of dying Kang Won-rae?” and “How about committing suicide with him?” .
Kim, who received a bad comment from Mr. A, filed a complaint on the 7th of last month, and the police received it and initiated an investigation.
At that time, Mr. Kim also revealed the message he received, asking, “How long should I be patient?”
A police official said, “After receiving the complaint on the 7th of last month, we initiated an investigation, and traced and arrested Mr. A anonymously using SNS.”
Mr. A stated that he accidentally sent a message after watching the appearance on TV with Kim Song and Kang Won-rae. He is known to have sent a malicious message because he thought that celebrities such as Kim Song appeared on TV and made money easily.
