“Lebanese Judge Rejects Defenses of Banque du Liban Governor Riad Salameh, Sets Interrogation for Brother Raja Salama”

The Acting First Investigating Judge in Beirut, Charbel Abu Samra, issued a decision to reject the formal defenses submitted by the agents of the Governor of the Banque du Liban, Riad Salameh, against the Lebanese state.

Abu Samra considered that “the intervention of the Cases Authority in the Ministry of Justice in the case against Salameh is in its legal place, which means accepting the state’s intervention in the case against Salameh in Lebanon.”

Abu Samra set a session to interrogate the ruler’s brother, Raja Salama, on June 15.
