The pretty Mallory goes to an audition at Fred Sandow, known to have made documentaries several years earlier and recycled in reality TV. Mallory is found several hours later in Central Park. She was drugged and raped. Fred Sandow is arrested and sent to Rikers Island prison. Indeed, the police found his DNA on the victim and narcotics in his office. His assistant, Jess, also provided evidence to inspectors. Mad with rage, the director’s son, Eddie, takes Jess and her daughter, Lily, hostage and demands his father’s release.
