European Chief Prosecutor Laura Coveschi is coming to Bulgaria tomorrow. Sources of “24 Chasa” revealed that Koveshi is coming at the invitation of the Bulgarian prosecutor’s office.

So far, its program is not clear. The prosecutor’s office did not comment. Most likely, one of Koveshi’s meetings will be with Chief Prosecutor Ivan Geshev. She will be second among them. The first was after his election as chief prosecutor.

Koveshi also held a video interview with the SJC’s prosecutorial board over the election of delegated prosecutors.

One of the reasons for Coveschi’s visit to Bulgaria is probably the need to increase the budget of the European Prosecutor’s Office, which is located in Luxembourg.

Koveshi is expected to speak to the media on Friday.
