OP and White House discussed the situation around Ukraine

The Ukrainian and American sides agreed, in particular, on further steps to achieve peace.

Head of the President’s Office Andriy Yermak and US National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan held talks on Thursday evening, December 23, reported on Ermak’s Twitter account.

As indicated, the parties discussed security issues and Ukraine.

“We continued a regular exchange of views with Jake Sullivan on the bilateral agenda, security issues and the situation around Ukraine. We discussed further steps to achieve peace,” the representative of Kiev wrote.

We will remind, earlier today the press secretary of the White House Jen Psaki said that Washington will not agree to Moscow’s proposals on security issues that affect NATO, but may agree with others.

Prior to that, the administration of US President Joe Biden reported that ready to start relevant negotiations with Russia in early January.
