Latin culture covers the streets at the Loisaida festival

The traditional Loisaida Cultural Festival returned to Avenida C in its face-to-face format.

This Sunday the 35th edition of the festival was held in the Lower East Side of Manhattan.

According to the organizers, this is the largest event of its kind in the city.

The celebration also marks the start of the New York Festival which promotes artistic and cultural activities throughout the five boroughs during the summer.

Acacia Network, an entity that provides health services and seeks to improve the quality of life of low-income New Yorkers, is one of the organizing institutions of this party.

The Loisaida festival takes place along Avenida C in Alphabet City and on this occasion the community work of various personalities was recognized.
