The 67-year-old singer Laima Vaikule devoted herself to her career and did not become a mother, which is now often thought of. Laima wanted to take the child from the orphanage, but she did not receive it completely.
Russian PRESS Vaikule does not hide that she has had health problems and this has prevented her from getting pregnant.
“I could have had children. But there were different nuances, let’s not go into gynecology. Sorry for the comparison with dogs – I had the choice to take a breed of dog, or a dog from a shelter. I also had the opportunity to “make” a child out of my body and blood, or take it from an orphanage, “explains Vaikule.
The musician states that the need for children has never been a major issue in her life.
“In my profession, artists who have children and who take care of the shoots themselves and do not entrust them to nannies or grandmothers have big problems. There are few musicians who are fine with children. I don’t condemn anyone, but I didn’t even have time to raise dogs. Where do I Have Children? What would be with them, ”explains Vaikule.
The singer adds that each of her and she does not experience the fact that she has not felt her mother’s joy. Vaikule is proud to have saved many dogs in his lifetime!
The singer spends a lot of time and resources helping four-legged friends. The musician plans to create a special park for dogs in his homeland.
