The “Harry Potter” empire continues to grow: As the production company Warner Bros announced on Tuesday, an amusement park is to open in Tokyo in 2023, which will show the making of films about the famous wizard. On an area of 30,000 square meters, visitors to the park “The Studio Tour Tokyo” can then take a look behind the scenes of the “Harry Potter” films.
Replicas of the magic school
The attractions of the new amusement park are said to include replicas of the Hogwarts Magic School and Diagon Alley, where Harry Potter gets his school equipment. The new park will be built on the site of the Toshimaen theme park, which is due to close at the end of the month.
Warner Bros already has a “Harry Potter” permanent exhibition on its UK studio site. Other “Harry Potter” theme parks are operated by Universal Studios in Hollywood and Orlando in the USA and in Osaka, Japan.
