The Polkadot Network is in the process of making a major update again after recently allowing balance transfers. Parachain auctions and equity loans are now available on Kusama and Westend. The network’s current objective is to offer around 100 parachain slots on Polkadot according to theoretical calculation constraints.

Kusama will serve as an additional testing ground for Parachains, a live network that allows the community to analyze the impact of the network and perform more testing and optimization.
