From July 13 to 19, a set of colorful events “Kuldiga Summer Stained Glass” takes place in Kuldiga. Concerts for different tastes, exhibitions, performances and unseen environmental objects take place on the Kuldīga stage, in the courtyards, in the City Garden, on Liepājas Street and in Māra Pond.

The glasses reflect the values

“The idea of the first large-format collection of spectacles in Latvia arose at the meeting of the organizers of the event” Kuldiga Summer Stained Glass “,” says Krista Karlsone, project manager of the cultural center.
The special charm of Kuldīga is in the windows of the old town, the windows of which reflect the life and values of the city, but it can also be seen through these glasses, adds Ilze Zariņa, who took care of the creation of environmental objects and coordinated their placement. The idea has been entrusted to professional Kuldiga artists. “We started calling them from one end, and everyone was immediately responsive,” Ilze rejoices. The idea could be expanded even further, because they haven’t even been able to communicate with everyone.
