Bulgarian boxing star Kubrat Pulev is officially a Masters in “Politics and Business” from the UNSS. The new major is likely to help the athlete in his planned entry into politics, which has been talked about for several years.
In 2018, Pulev became a bachelor after discussing his graduation thesis on “Personal characteristics and attitudes for aggressive reactions in boxing contestants” at the Vasil Levski National Academy of Sciences.

Now the boxer has defended his master’s thesis “Dynamics of political (in) stability in Bulgaria after joining the EU”, with the Assoc. Dr. Elena Simeonova – Deputy Dean for Academic Work at the Faculty of “International Economics and Politics” and Acting Head of the Department of “Political Science”.
Prof. Simeonova shared that this year six students from the program appeared for defense in June.
“Most of them go back to autumn, because that way they have more time to make their own developments. The group that Kubrat Pulev was part of was very strong. I can say that his presence had a motivating effect on everyone. most of them expected him to appear and then disappear. But while we were there, he came absolutely every day from Monday to Friday, “she told bTV of her impressions.
Prof. Simeonova added that she was struck by his way of presenting himself. During the defense, Pulev answered all the questions that were put to him, including those posed by his colleagues in the courtroom.
According to her, Pulev was a very executive and conscientious student. When you went to the US in May to fight American Jerry Forrest, you remotely sent the developments for the individual disciplines.
Cobra and the rest of the graduates of the Politics and Business Master at UNSS will receive diplomas at the end of the academic year. Pulev has already warned that he will most likely have to travel to America again.
“I feel happy and satisfied with the time that I was able to be a part of the master’s program in political science at UNSS. A time that gave me valuable knowledge and a time that gave me the opportunity to meet exceptional professionals among the teachers I am grateful to the university management for this possibility.
“Education should be a priority for every person who wants to develop. Bulgaria has great universities and top-notch educated and established teachers,” said Kubrat Pulev.
