Serbian police have been removing registration numbers for many years from vehicles registered in Kosovo. The Pristina authorities’ initiative is a mirror step by Kosovo.

From now on, Serbian numbers will have to be replaced with temporary ones upon entry into Kosovo territory.

“We we did not ask for temporary numbers, but they were imposed by the other party. While our citizens have to pay when entering Serbia, this practice will continue when entering Kosovo, “said Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti.
