Kollam: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan will consider including tribal arts in arts festival competitions from next year. He was inaugurating the State School Arts Festival.

Fresh water should be provided round the clock in the venues and green room in view of high temperature. Try to start the matches at 9.30 am. Care should be taken to close unappealable matches in a timely manner. The State Appellate Committee should take necessary decisions on the same day. The minister said that all the committees are working together for the success of the arts festival and the collaboration will continue in the coming days. People from Kollam who love drama are sure to go there. The contestants also reached the beach in groups. The introduction of parking facilities inside the grounds also caused congestion. The police intervened and controlled the traffic as the road in front of the Chinnakada Craven School in Ootupura was crowded.
