Kobayashi also won the second race of the Four Bridges Tour in Ga-Pa

The 25-year-old Kobayashi continued the inaugural win from Oberstdorf and before the second half of the Tour of the Austrian Bridges he has set out for the overall championship. Kobayashi led after the first jump with a length of 143 meters. In the second round, Eisenbichler beat his performance by half a meter, but did not jump to the telemark and the Japanese were just enough 135.5 meters to maintain the lead. The 22-year Slovenian surprise Kos lost 5.2 points.

The overall winner of the World Cup from the 2018/19 season, Kobajaši, scored the fifth cup victory of the season, the fourth of the last five races and the third in a row. As a result, he became the second jumper of the season to lead the standings. The German Geiger won the inaugural race of the year in Nizhny Tagil in November and has held the yellow number since then, but today he finished seventh in his hometown and dropped by 21 points to second place.

The tour continues on Monday with qualifying for the race in Innsbruck.

Indráčková took 25th place

Ski jumper Karolína Indráčková took 25th place in the New Year’s race in Ljubljana and scored for the fifth time in the World Cup season. The 24-year-old racer managed to establish herself among the elite thirty this winter as the only Czech national team member.

While in the New Year’s Eve race in Slovenia the Czech jumpers remained without points, today the best of them Indráčková advanced from 28th place to the second round. She jumped 80 meters in it again and moved up three places.

Her 15-year-old sister Anežka finished similarly to Friday in the 33rd, Klára Ulrichová was 39th. Štěpánka Ptáčková did not qualify for the race.

Today’s victory of compatriot Ryoya Kobayashi in Garmisch-Partenkirchen was imitated by the Japanese Sara Takanashi, who made it to the podium for the first time this season. Women jumped on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Eve for the first time, hoping to see their Four-Bridge Tour soon.
