Kirstie Alley thinks Twitter banning Donald Trump is ‘slavery’

Kirstie Alley continues to support and defend President Donald Trump, this time in the wake of Wednesday’s shocking attack on the Capitol by MAGA supporters. But the former Cheers actress isn’t calling anyone for the attack, instead choosing to jump into the fray over Trump’s removal from Twitter. She even went so far as to call it “slavery”.

Alley herself took to Twitter after Trump’s permanent ban to prevent the president from causing another incident until Jan.20 and Joe Biden’s inauguration. Trump’s removal also opened a crackdown on other accounts linked to the president, some he even attempted to take over, and other accounts linked to the alternative right linked to the events.

“What do you think of Mr. Biden on TOTAL Conservative censorship?” Alley wrote on the platform after his account became one of the many victims of the crackdown. “I know that several times you have said that you are going to be the chairman of both parties. I really want you to speak up and oppose censorship on behalf of everyone. Thank you.”

The former Cheers didn’t stop there, continuing to call out alleged online censorship over silencing conservative voices. She joins many who claim their First Amendment rights have been tainted by Twitter, a private company not bound by the First Amendment.

“If you don’t think this is scary stuff and by UI means all of the United States, no matter what their political persuasion, then you are complicit in Communism and DICTATORSHIPS,” Alley wrote in another tweet. “I’m confident that none of us on this timeline R OK with this purge and cancellation. For those of you who think it’s Ok, next time. You will see.

Alley joins several conservative voices crying out scandal over Twitter’s decision. Hercules star Kevin Sorbo and former Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly have been very loud on the platform, while Donald Trump Jr. has referred to George Orwell’s 1984 in an attempt to connect ‘big tech’ to ‘big brother ”as part of the book. Many were quick to point out that 1984 covered completely different topics unrelated to Trump’s comments.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is vowing to remove Trump from office by January 20 because of his actions earlier this week. Articles of impeachment drafted for a vote on Monday accuse the president of instigating an insurgency by pushing his supporters to “fight” for his presidency and “stop the theft” by going to stop a joint session of Congress certifying the vote . Five people died in the riot, including a police officer from the Capitol who was allegedly beaten by the crowd.
