LA good start, a clear decision: Schleswig-Holstein’s Greens put an end to all attempts to make it possible to ban full veiling at Schleswig-Holstein’s universities after around a year of consultation. The political party spokesman, Lasse Petersdotter, announced that the party’s parliamentary parliamentary group voted unanimously against a corresponding amendment to the law.
With this decision, the Greens reject Kiel University’s wish for a legal basis for a ban on veiling.
