Karen Marie Ellefsen makes a TV comeback in “Prisoners at the fort”

The retired NRK legend confirms to VG that she will be seen as the “riddle master” in “The Prisoners at the Fort”. The popular TV3 program is making a comeback on screen this autumn. It is ten years since the program last went on TV.

– I am a “riddle master” in “Prisoners at the fort” and I sit in a tower and ask the participants different riddles. It was fun to be back on TV again and it was a nice bunch to work with, Karen Marie Ellefsen tells VG.

The 71-year-old makes no secret of the fact that she misses the NRK job very much.

– It became very quiet when I quit last year. Much of my job was my social life. What I miss most is athletics and especially now that it has been the Olympics as well, says Ellefsen.

She tells VG that she has received several TV offers after the NRK exit, which she has declined.

Bernt Hulsker and Julie Strømsvåg are this year’s presenters for «Prisoners at the fort». The program aired for the first time on TV3 in 1993. In the program, the participants fight for the victory in various exercises at the spectacular fortress Fort Boyard in France.
