On the 5th, Kim Si-won posted a handwritten letter with the title “Thank you everyone” on his Afreeca TV’s ‘I Love Kim Si-won’ bulletin board.

Kim Si-won said, “It will soon be 6 years since I started broadcasting, and in fact, I was planning to broadcast the 6th anniversary and last broadcast on May 1st.” He added, “I think some people expected it to a certain extent because I saw a lot of people who were having a hard time.” He started speaking.

He continued, “It’s funny to say that it’s the last broadcast, and I think it’s ridiculous to try to decide the end, but it ended like this. Due to the overlapping reasons, too many things happened at once, so I think I was a little tired. I was with people I was once good with.” “I think it was very difficult to create a repetitive situation where people I was thankful for later ended up blaming me,” he said.

He said, “(Still, I’m not going to explain the reason for my retirement). I just want to remember the good things and quit like that. I think this will be my last letter and my last notice. I just want to express my gratitude to everyone and leave now.” “And it will never come back,” he emphasized.

He added, “There were many times when I couldn’t make up my mind, and I was so thankful and grateful to everyone who always gave me courage and made me know my worth.”

Siwon Kim performed under the name Dahee in the group Glam in 2012. In 2014, after drinking with actor Lee Byung-hun and others, he caused controversy when he threatened to post a secretly filmed obscene video online and demanded 5 billion won. At that time, Lee Byung-hun filed a complaint against Kim Si-won to the police, and Kim Si-won was sentenced to one year in prison in the first trial on charges of violating the law on punishment, including acts of violence. Afterwards, he was sentenced to one year in prison and two years probation in the second trial.

Siwon Kim has been working as a BJ on Afreeca TV since 2018. He recently received the Afreeca TV BJ grand prize for two consecutive years, and last year, he reportedly earned about 2.4 billion won from star balloon profits alone.
