Canadian pop singer lifted Justin Beiber Defamation suit against two women accused of sexual misconduct, demanding compensation of $ 20 million.
The young pop singer filed the lawsuit in Los Angeles High Court on Thursday, after he wrote on Twitter, earlier this week, that the allegation that he had sexually assaulted a woman in 2014 was “virtually impossible”.
The woman, who identified herself as Daniel without being identified, said in a Twitter post that has since been deleted, that she was sexually assaulted by Bieber at a hotel in Austin, Texas, on March 9, 2014.
The other woman, who identified herself as Cady, also said on Twitter that she was assaulted by Bieber in a New York City hotel room in May 2015.
The lawsuit described the accusations made by the two women as “fabricated and infamous lies”, demanding a trial before a jury and compensation in the amount of US $ 20 million to Biber for the damages incurred.
Neither woman could be contacted today, Friday, for comment, and Bieber representatives did not respond to requests for comment on the lawsuit.
Hundreds of men have been charged in the areas of entertainment, business, sports and politics with sexual misconduct, since the Me2 movement became a dynamic cultural force in 2017.
Bieber, 26, brightened up when he was thirteen, and became one of the most popular singers in the world.
