The former dancer Julio Kopseng is being investigated for a rape that allegedly took place twelve years ago. He has previously been sentenced to 21 years in prison.
Transfer TV 2 Police attorney Henrik Rådal in the Oslo police district confirms that the case is under investigation, but is otherwise sparse with information.
As far as the channel is aware, the review was delivered before the summer, and Kopseng has so far not been questioned about the case.

Kopseng perceives that the press has prejudged him in connection with previous cases and therefore has no comments on this case at this time. This is also out of consideration for the investigation in the case, the defender of Julio Kopseng, lawyer Heidi Reisvang, informs TV 2.
Abuse of 19 women
The serial rapist has been in prison since 2013 after he was sentenced to 21 years in prison for abusing 19 women. In 2019, he was convicted in the Borgarting Court of Appeal for raping two more women, but because he is already serving the most severe sentence of the law, no sentence was imposed in the latest sentence.
At the end of May this year, Kopseng changed lawyer from Sigurd J. Klomsæt to John Christian Elden’s law firm.

– Psychopathic traits
When the Oslo District Court in 2015 found Koppseng guilty of nine rapes he was charged with, the forensic experts concluded that Kopseng shows clear psychopathic features. The court ruled that it was likely that one would commit new rapes, when one has previously raped several times.
Several of the witness statements then told the court that Kopseng is a gentle and bubbly person, but that he suddenly gets a personality change that makes him aggressive, and that he can then rape. After these rapes, he becomes happy again.
The district court pointed out that the experts believed that Kopseng had clear psychopathic traits, but that he was criminally sane.
