Two years after the release of his latest album, Julien Doré has released his new title “The fever” on the climate emergency. On the occasion of the singer’s much awaited return by his fans, the program “50 ‘Inside” retraced his career this Saturday, June 27. Successful in his last years, partly with his album “Løve” released in 2013, Julien Doré was first revealed by the “Nouvelle Star” in 2007 before becoming a figure on the French music scene. If the young singer won the fifth season of tele-crochet and made a noticeable passage, it is in particular thanks to the precious support of Virginie Efira who gave him a boost during the auditions.

To sing before Marianne James, Manu Katché, André Manoukian and Dove Attia, Julien Doré was going to present himself with his ukulele. But the jurors disagreed and did not want to listen to him. Having noticed the candidate’s talent, Virginie Efira convinces him to perform before the jury without his instrument. “Virginie had an advantage over us. She had seen the pre-castings. We didn’t hear her. She fought. I think we owe the victory of Julien Doré in Nouvelle Star to Virginie Efira” , said Dove Attia in “50 ‘Inside”. Since then, the former host who became an actress has always been close to Julien Doré. “We are friends. I feel like I know him intimately. And vice versa […] We talk about our lives, men, women […] When we see each other, we have tea. Julien has a girlfriend life, “she confided in Télé 7 Jours in 2017.
