Operation puppet
Moreno was captured by the Guardia Civil. accused of conspiracy, fraud, money laundering and theft. In the same operation his partners, about fifty people, were arrested. The operation, ironically named Titella (puppet or marionette, in Catalan) investigates an international commercial network, which the entrepreneur allegedly used to steal money from bank and private loans. After obtaining the funds, Moreno and his partners would have diverted the money to instrumental companies to prevent it from being claimed by the credit institutions. A scam estimated at around 50 million euros. According to sources of the investigation, the entrepreneur and his partners have created more than 700 merchant companies with which they would have appropriated money from bank and private loans. Once the money was diverted through the corporate network, customers could no longer get it back. Among the collaborators of the network were employees and managers of banking institutions. Involvement in money laundering from drug trafficking is also suspected.

Unpaid wages

Legality
Moreno’s personal life has had other chapters of dubious legality. In January 1999, a setting of the Caldern Theater, which he had rented, caused the death of a woman. In 2007, his residence in Boadilla del Monte was attacked by a gang of Albanian Kosovars and the producer had to be hospitalized for his injuries. In 2014 his recording studios were the victim of a fire and in 2016 his home was attacked again.
