Hello friends of OA Sport and welcome to LIVE LIVE on Saturday of the 2020 Spanish Grand Prix, second stage of the Moto2 World Championship. Four months after the debut of Losail, the middle class returns to the protagonist together with the other categories of the World Championship on the track of Jerez de la Frontera in a Saturday dedicated to the third free practice session and qualifying, which will determine the starting grid for tomorrow’s race.
Luca Marini, in light of the results collected in the test on Wednesday and in the free practice on Friday, he is the main favorite for pole position but above all for the final victory thanks to a frantic pace that allows him not to lose performance after many consecutive laps on the same set of tires. Sky Racing Team very ambitious and competitive even with Marco Bezzecchi, not at the top physically but fast and steady enough to aim for the front row and the podium on the Andalusian track. Headlights aimed at the hosts Jorge Navarro, Jorge Martin and Aron Canet, very dangerous and fearsome in qualifying, as well as some specialists of the dry ride such as the German Marcel Schrotter, the Swiss Thomas Luthi and the British Sam Lowes. In a blue perspective, Lorenzo Baldassarri, Fabio Di Giannantonio and Enea Bastianini can also aim for an excellent result, even if the growth path of the rookie Lorenzo Dalla Porta, the outgoing Moto3 champion, must still be followed.
