Blackpool was hit by the powerful storm on Tuesday, and according to BBCAccording to meteorologist Simon King, there were close to 3,000 lightning strikes in northern England between four o’clock and midnight on Tuesday.

Friends and acquaintances have visited the football field where the accident took place and laid flowers and footballs in memory of Banks.
The tourist attraction Blackpool Tower lit up with a red light, in memory of the young Liverpool supporter.
